Understanding the Hot Lead Score

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Hot Lead Score helps you quickly identify which leads are most engaged so you can prioritize follow-up with the people showing the most interest.

What It Means

Every new lead starts with a default score of 50. That baseline assumes a certain level of interest—after all, they filled out a form or came through a lead source.

From there, the score gradually decreases over time if the lead isn’t interacting with your emails or video pages. On the flip side, if the lead is opening your emails, checking out your video page, or watching your videos, the score will increase.

What Affects the Score

The score rises when leads take meaningful actions, like:

  • Opening an email

  • Clicking into your video page

  • Watching your intro video

  • Interacting with resources on the page

Where to Find It

You can see each lead’s score in a few places:

This makes it easy to spot warm prospects at a glance and focus your time where it counts.

If you're managing a lot of leads, keeping an eye on the Hot Lead Score is a great way to prioritize your outreach. The higher the score, the more engaged the lead is—and likely more ready for a conversation.
