Integrating MyRepChat in Pageport

Read this article as a guide to get your MyRepchat account integrated with Pageport.

Updated over a week ago

If you're using MyRepChat for texting and calling, you can integrate it directly with Pageport to manage communication from one place. This article walks through how to set that up.

Where to Start

In Pageport, go to Settings, then click on the Integrations tab on the sidebar.
Scroll down to find MyRepChat, then click the star icon to pin it to the top. Once it's pinned, click Connect. This will open a window prompting you to enter a Public Key and Secret Key — you'll grab those from your MyRepChat account.

Get Your API Keys from MyRepChat

Open MyRepChat. From the bottom-left menu, go to Settings, then scroll to the Profile section and click on API Access.

Click Generate to create your keys.

You'll be given a Public Key and a Secret Key. Both are required to complete the integration.

Complete the Integration in Pageport

Back in Pageport, paste both keys into the MyRepChat integration window and click Save. You’ll see a confirmation that the integration was successful, and the status will update to “Connected.”

Using MyRepChat with Multiple Advisors

If your Pageport account has multiple users who each want to send texts from their own MyRepChat number, each advisor will need to integrate their account individually. Even if the integration is already active, each user should open the integration settings and paste in their own API keys. This ensures their outbound messages come from their number rather than a shared team number.
