In Pageport, the lead owner is the person responsible for follow-up — their email and number are used for automated messages, and tasks are assigned to them. This article explains several methods on how to set or update lead ownership.

Assigning Through a Lead Processor

If you're using a Lead Processor, you can auto assign lead ownership for every lead that come in from that lead source. Just open the processor and use the Assign User option to choose who should the leads should be assigned to. You can assign different users based on lead source or territory, making it easy to route leads exactly where they need to go.

Assigning from the Lead Details Page

If you’re working with a lead already in the system, you can assign an owner from the lead's detail page. Click into the lead, and on the left-hand side under the Pageport fields section you’ll find the Lead Owner assignment option.

Assigning from the Leads Table

From the Leads table, you can quickly assign owners to one or more leads. Simply check the box next to the lead(s), then click Assign owner to choose the user from your team. This is especially useful if you want to update a batch of leads at once.

Assigning from a Lead List

You can assign the lead owner to leads in a list in same way. Open the list, select the leads using the checkboxes or the "Select All" option, then click Assign owner. Choose the new owner and the update will apply to all selected leads.
