If your email provider doesn’t fall under Microsoft or Google, you can still integrate your email with Pageport using IMAP and SMTP. Here’s how to set it up.
Finding the IMAP Integration Option
Start by going to Settings in Pageport, then select the Email & Calendar tab. From the list of options select the Continue with IMAP/SMTP option. From there click View All Providers, then choose Continue with IMAP. In most cases, you’ll click IMAP again on the next screen to proceed.
Entering Your IMAP and SMTP Credentials
You’ll be prompted to enter your email address, password, and details for both the IMAP and SMTP hosts and ports. These are usually provided by your email service or IT department. If you don’t have this information handy, contact your IT team—they should be able to provide your:
IMAP host and port
SMTP host and port
Any required security settings
Without these, the connection won’t complete successfully.
Special Instructions for Redtail-Hosted Email
If you’re using Redtail-hosted email, there’s one key difference: do not use your standard email password. Instead, you’ll need to generate a special app password within your Redtail settings. Click here to see Redtail's help article on this topic.
Use that generated password along with the following host information to complete the Pageport connection:
IMAP host: imap.redtailtechnology.com IMAP port: 993
SMTP host: smtp.redtailtechnology.com SMTP port: 587
