Pageport offers built-in SMS archiving to help you stay compliant and keep clear records of all text message activity. Whether you're texting clients directly or through campaigns, your messages can be archived automatically and sent to you or your compliance team on a regular basis.
Setting Up SMS Archive Emails
To configure your SMS archiving, go to your general settings in Pageport. On the right-hand side, you’ll find a dropdown labeled “Frequency of SMS archive email.” Here, you can choose whether to receive your archive report weekly or monthly. You can also specify to what email the report should be sent. Once you've selected the frequency and recipients, hit save to start receiving the reports automatically.
Requesting a Full Archive
If you need a full archive outside of the scheduled reports, you can generate one manually. Go to your phone number settings, then scroll to the bottom and click the “Email Full Texting Archive” button. From there, select a date range (weekly, monthly, or all-time), enter the email address you want the report sent to, and click send. The full archive will be delivered to your inbox with all SMS activity from the selected time frame.
