Setting Up and Applying Schedules

Set specific days and times for when messages are sent or notifications are triggered by creating and applying custom schedules in Pageport.

Schedules in Pageport allow you to control the days and times your emails and texts are delivered and when you receive incoming lead notifications. They can also be used to determine when certain actions happen in a workflow. In this article, we'll show you how to create a new schedule and where to apply them.

Creating a Schedule

To start, login to Pageport and navigate to Settings > Schedules

1. Click Create schedule

Note: If you're adding another schedule, you'll click New schedule

2. Name your schedule and select your time zone

3. Click Edit schedule

4. Select the appropriate days and time windows, then click Save

You can click the copy button to apply the same time window to multiple days.

Applying a Schedule to a Sequence

Add a schedule to a sequence to determine which windows of time you'd like to allow your messages to be delivered.

Navigate to Sequences > View sequence

1. Click Settings under your sequence

2. Click the Delivery schedule dropdown and select your schedule

Make sure to click Save to apply your changes.

Overriding the Schedule on a Specific Sequence Step

You can choose to override the schedule on a specific sequence step. For example, maybe you want the first email to be sent to the lead regardless of the time, but all other messages to be sent within business hours. To do so, follow these steps:

Navigate to the Sequences > View sequence

1. Click the 3-dot menu on the sequence step, then click Edit step details

2. Select whether to use, bypass, or select another schedule from the Step schedule dropdown.

Applying a Schedule to Incoming Lead Notifications

Add a schedule to a lead processor to determine which windows of time you'd like to receive TapText and Quick Call notifications when a new lead comes in.

1. Navigate to Lead processors, then click on the desired territory or lead processor.

2. Click the Calling schedule dropdown and select your schedule.

Make sure to click Save process after making your changes.
