Working with Multiple Phone Numbers

Learn how to add and manage multiple phone numbers to match different geographic areas and improve connection rates with leads.

Updated over 3 months ago

Using multiple phone numbers in Pageport allows you to connect with leads using a local presence, increasing the chances of your calls being answered. You can add different numbers for various regions and seamlessly switch between them when making calls. This guide will show you how to set up multiple phone numbers and manage them when reaching out to leads.

Adding a New Phone Number

To start, log in to Pageport and navigate to Settings > Phone numbers.

1. Click + Add new number

2. Input your city and state to view available numbers, then select your preferred number.

Note that some cities may not have any available numbers.

3. Under Quick call number, choose the phone number you want outbound calls from Pageport to ring.

Usually, this is your office or personal phone number.

4. Under Name, choose an internal name for easy identification.

For example, you might name one number "Houston" and another number "Dallas" to differentiate between numbers when calling leads.

Managing Phone Numbers When Calling Leads

Completing a Call Task

When completing a call task, click the Quick call dropdown and select which number you want to call from. Your internal name will appear in parentheses next to the number.

Calling a One-Off Lead

When calling a lead from their lead page, select which number you want to call from the drop-down. Your internal name will appear in parentheses next to the number.

Quick Call Notification

Under Lead Processors, use the Number to call from dropdown to select your preferred number to use for that territory or lead source. This phone number is the number that will be used for "Quick calls" to call a new lead that comes through your lead source.
