Before you can text in Pageport, you must get A2P campaign approved. A2P is a campaign used by the government to validate your SMS messaging and is necessary to verify your business and prevent messages from being filtered as spam. This approval is solely based on the submitted campaign, and Pageport has no control over what gets approved and when. However, we do want to make sure we are here to guide you through every step of the process. The following guide walks you through the necessary information for your A2P campaign.

Note: You must first get TCPA Caller ID Approval before you can get your A2P campaign approved.

Please send the following information to us via email:

  • Campaign description - describe for the A2P approval what you're using texting for.

  • Campaign message flow - write out the steps that your campaign will go through. Typically it's something like "prospect requests information -> advisor messages prospect -> etc." Write your own answers!

  • Message sample 1 - write an example text message so they can see what you might send. Alternatively, we can pull from your sequence.

  • Message sample 2 - write an example text message so they can see what you might send. Alternatively, we can pull from your sequence.

  • Message sample 3 - write an example text message so they can see what you might send. Alternatively, we can pull from your sequence.

After submitting your campaign, A2P campaign approval typically takes 1-2 weeks. If you've been approved for an A2P campaign before, this process is usually much quicker and will take 1-2 business days.
