Pageport will automatically send a text message to you or the specified user(s) when a lead comes in. The text primarily serves as a notification that you've received a new lead. Furthermore, you will be prompted to easily call or text the lead from the Pageport menu.
When you select TapText from the menu, a prefilled SMS message will pop up that you can quickly send to the new lead. This customized prefilled message can include dynamic fields that auto-populate with the Lead's information and a video page link.
There are three ways to use a TapText:
Lead Processors
The most common way TapTexts are used is in a lead processor. When a new lead comes in from your lead source, a TapText will notify you via text message with the lead's information so you can quickly and easily contact the lead. Here's what a TapText will look like:
Here's how you can turn on the TapText feature in your lead processor:
Turning on TapText in Your Lead Processor
To start, log in to Pageport and navigate to Lead processors.
1. Click on your lead source
2. Check TapText notification and fill out your information
Under TapText phone numbers, enter the phone number(s) to which you want to send the TapText.
Under TapText body, type the message you would like to be sent. You can use the { } button in the top right-hand corner of the text box to input a merge tag, such as the lead's name or contact information.
Make sure to click Save process to keep any changes you make!
Sequences
You can also add a TapText as a step in a sequence. If your lead source doesn't allow automated texting, this can be helpful to contact leads via text while staying compliant.

Workflows
A TapText can also be triggered as an event in a workflow. Using a workflow, you can set up conditions that trigger a TapText based on fields that you set. For example, you might trigger a TapText that sends you a message anytime a lead views their video page more than once so that you can quickly follow up with the lead.
