Creating email templates can help you save time when you send similar or reoccurring emails. Email templates might be used when sending email blasts for seminars/events, holidays, birthday greetings, or customer newsletters. The following guide will take you step-by-step through how to create an email template.
1. Login to Pageport and click Asset library
2. Click Email templates
3. Click New template
If you have already created an email template and wish to edit it, you can do so by clicking Edit template.
4. Write your email and click Save template
Name your template and write your email and subject line. Just like an email within a sequence, you can include dynamic fields that will populate with the lead's information or send a test email after you've written your email.
Using an email template
Lead details page
If you want to send an email directly to a lead, first navigate to the lead details page by finding the lead on the Leads table and clicking View lead.
Then, click on the Email button in the top-right, and select the email template you'd like to send.
Sequence
To import an email template into a sequence step, first find the sequence by going to Sequences > View sequence. In an email task, click Import template in the top right.
Email blast
When starting a new email blast, you can add your email template by clicking Select email template and choosing your template from the dropdown menu.
