Testing a sequence can be helpful to see automated communication in a sequence from a lead's point of view and to ensure that the sequence is running as expected before activating a sequence. If you make tweaks only to emails within a sequence, you can also test individual emails.

To start, navigate to Sequences > View sequence.

1. Once on the sequence editor, click Test sequence.

Once on the editor page for the sequence you'd like to text, click Test sequence

2. Fill out your information, then click Test Sequence.

Fill in any name and contact information that you would like the text messages and emails to be sent to. After clicking Test Sequence, each step in the sequence should be sent about 10 seconds apart. Task steps will be skipped.

Fill out your information, then click Test Sequence

To test an individual email:

1. Click on the body of the email

To test an individual email, click on the body of the email.

2. Click Send test

Click Send test

3. Fill out your information, then click Send test email

Fill out your email and the name of the lead you would like to use to populate the dynamic fields (this ensure your merge tags are populating correctly).

Fill out your information, then click Send test email
